Continuing Professional Development Overview
The Institute of Mine Surveyors of South Africa (IMSSA) requires members to engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain and enhance their professional knowledge and skills. This ensures that all members remain current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
20 CPD Points must be earned each cycle of five (5) years across the different activity categories.
Continuing Professional Development Introduction
The Institute of Mine Surveyors of Southern Africa, with reference to The South African Geomatics Council for members registered with the SAGC, has in terms of section 8(1)(d)(ix), resolved to introduce a compulsory Continuing Professional Development program, adherence to which will be a requirement for renewal of registration in every 5-year cycle.
